St. Petersburg: The Churches 2

It's time for Churches of St. Petersburg round 2! Now, I realize I could've condensed it all into one blog, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to choose from the photos! How do you adequately show how fascinating these structures are to someone who isn't here in person? Well, the answer is... you can't. But I'm doing my darndest to get as many photos to share!

No... this isn't a church. It's Hot Chocolate. Yes, that's right. We ordered Hot Chocolate and got this. Amazing warm chocolate pudding... totally hit the spot.

Alright enough of the chocolate yumminess...
So here goes with St. Isaac's Cathedral one of the world's largest cathedrals. Pretty sweet.

The paintings were stunning.

These doors were HUGE! And totally had 3D scenes cut out of whatever material they were.

Now it's time to head up to the Colonade

Needless to say our first day in St. Petersburg was top notch! The next few days will include Palaces, Museums, and I'm sure a lot more sore muscles from all the walking. But it is 100% worth it.

St. Petersburg is definitely a travel-worthy destination and if you've got the opportunity I'd go for it! You won't regret it!
