This past Saturday we took a little trip to downtown Denver to check out an chalk-art festival!
It was an absolutely gorgeous day outside, and I had to yet to walk around the 16th street outdoor shopping area, so it was a win win situation all around.
my company for the day :)
There were random pianos throughout the area that you were free to just sit down and play on... there was a lot of talent and a lot of...well... attempts
Others artistic ability never ceases to amaze me and make me envious.
This was by far one of the coolest pieces of art. if you look closely in the reflective tube you can see a face
Now do you see it?? The whole way around was similar and just so creative!
A little man gettin' in on the action
also one of my favorites
Dan's favorite :)
Part of me wishes we'd gone back on Sunday to see all the finished products, but seeing them part way through was awesome. It's incredible to see what pieces of art can come from chalk and someone's raw talent!

I hope that you fed pigeons and then jumped into one of the drawings which then turned into a cool magical world...since that never happened in London :(
